I realized I haven’t posted a good close up portrait in a while.

So today’s tip is to make sure you step down your aperture a few stops when shooting close up portraits to avoid blurred out nose and ears, unless you like that kind of thing, then go ahead. 😉

I like shooting close up portraits at f4 on my 135mm. This insurers that the whole face is tack sharp and in focus.

If you’re shooting a close up portrait with a second person in the shot, you might step down to f5, because believe it or not, f4 is still extremely narrow close up like this on a 135mm. So if your subjects are not exactly parallel with you, one of them could still be a bit out of focus.

So yesterday I got my Facebook page Verified. Today, I was one click away from getting my account stolen!

Simple message for today, if it’s too good to be true, it usually is.

I knew it was a scam, but I was curious how they were going to try to scam me because they didn’t ask for any information at all that would give them access to my account. They simply needed me to except their invitation to their business manager.

After I did some quick research I found that had I excepted that invitation It would have made them an admin on my page!

That aside, I’m extremely happy to have avoided that disaster and just wanted to leave you with these two happy love birds to brighten your day! 🤗☺️🥰
