You can see the passage of time itself in long exposure photography, and strange things happen to your sense of time when you see the photos of Moe Chen.
He describes himself as “Just another dude with a camera...” Truth is he’s an expert with the camera. He goes on:
This is what I love about landscape photography. In order to capture something, you have to be there. Photography gives me an excuse to be up when the sun rises over the ocean. An excuse to stand in the water or get soaked by the spray that no "normal person" experiences. Something about the physical feel of a camera in my hand and the sound of the shutter just makes me happy.”
